ABOUT 3TOYOU

Beirut Port’s tragedy which took place on August 4th, 2020, has created severe consequences on many fronts and has brought forth, many risks on the lives of children.

Inspiring and massive support has been provided to the Lebanese community since then; food boxes, clothes, glass repair and house restoration works among other services. A fundamental support which will certainly contribute to shaping a better tomorrow for our children. But we all know that for most children out there, tomorrow is now. Now, we’d like to ask children about what THEY want for a change.

3TO3 turned 3 on October 5, 2020.

To celebrate our birthday, we created the “3TOYOU” initiative aimed at engaging our community and granting 33 children with 3 wishes aimed at promoting PLAY.

To collect the children’s wishes, we visited 33 children and asked the following question:

“What are your 3 favorite ways to play?”

PLAY

Play is what makes children, children. Play is as important any other basic need (e.g.: water, food or clothes). Play is Growth, Creativity and Potential. And no matter how severe the socioeconomic context, children should know that they have the right to ask for whatever their hearts desire even and especially, in times of crisis. Children should not have the concerns they have today.

3TO3 COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The 3TO3 community (artists, musicians, DJs, writers, event planners, volunteers etc.) as well as donors will be invited to be engaged in the packing and distribution process.

MAKING IT PERSONAL

A personalized written message will be added to every box, letting the children know that someone out there, is actually thinking of them.
